Healthy drinking
Water is a crucial element in your body and yet most adults don't drink nearly enough water. Try to drink a glass of water each hour of the day. This ensures that your body remains adequately hydrated and that toxins are flushed from your body.

Reduce your consumption of alcohol as much as possible. Alcohol is traditionally high in sugar content. Minimize the amount of sugary beverages such as tea, coffee, soda etc as much as possible. Your could also replace some of these unhealthy beverages with something a whole lot more healthy such as Green Tea.

Increase Exercise
Possibly you really do not have time to go to a gym but that does not mean that you can not increase your exercise levels a bit. Try to walk a bit further each day or play with the kids a bit longer. Park your car at the far end of the shopping mall and use the steps instead of the escalator.

Exercise is cumulative so each time you do any physical activity your body burns extra calories. All the bits of extra calorie burning do add up at the end of the day.
